Aerosmith's 4th album. This is one of the best Aerosmith albums. Combination, Nobody's Fault, & Home Tonight are the songs I like the best. You already know that Back in the Saddle, Rats in the Cellar, Last Child & Sick as a Dog Rock. One of the best rock albums ever. Rocks Rocks/5().

This is Aerosmith's magnum opus heavy. Where "Toys" was an upbeat and pop-sensible hard rock album, Rocks was a dive into the heavy Proto-Metal realm with Rompy Boogies, Gritty Rockers, Sludgy Grinders, Heavy Hitters and even a Pseudo glam ballad. This was America's Greatest Hard Rock band at both a pinnacle and the verge of collapse/5().

May 21, · Aerosmith: Rocks (CD, Album, RM, RP) Columbia: CK US: Unknown: Sell This Version: CBS Aerosmith: Mine sounds great except on tracks Rats in the Cellar and Combination there is some high-pitched ringing when I crank it. I don't own any other albums /5(K).

The only down-side is the album cover which depicts the band-members as miners in a grey environment and is very bizarre (even the iconic winged logo has disappeared). For discussion, here are my favourite Aerosmith albums in the 'bad-old-days' era (best first): 1) 'Live bootleg' 2) 'Rocks' 3) 'Toys in the attic' 4) 'Get your wings' 5) 'Aerosmith'/5().

This is a great rock album, and a great Aerosmith album. It was never really going to top ROCKS, that's their 70's peak, yet it is different from rocks, funkier I would say. It is an album which has classic Aerosmith tunage. Steve's voice is great/5().
